ILH Israel Hostels is searching for a social media manager with skills in content writing, and marketing.
We strongly believe in integrating foreign independent travelers within our NGO’s media management, as well as in our hostels’ media operations, in order to transform the tour of Israel into a complete international experience – alongside the local aspects of it.
Responsibilities
ILH Israel Hostels is an NGO whose ultimate goal is to provide independent travelers in the Middle East a superb traveling experience. This goal is pursued on a regular basis along three guidelines:
(1) Bringing more tourist to the Middle East in general, toIsrael in specific and punctually to its hostels, guesthouses, inns and backpackers.
(2) Promoting and developing the independent tourism industry alongside the local small private businesses – in the levels of infrastructure, marketing and public relations, services and attitude to the tourists, engaging governments’ offices and international organizations.
(3) Last but not least – Building and maintaining a shared interest economic community, helping each other in times of need (which we are not short of in Israel), advising, hosting professional seminars etc.
Our agenda is based on the development of the independent tourism as a part of the society in which it operates. Besides assisting social businesses and touristic ventures to rise and operate in the best way for the tourist, we aspire to brand the Middle East in general, and Israel specifically, as a backpacking destination.
