Karamba Security’s red team is looking for an experienced red team reverse engineer that has experience with any potential IOT device or protocol used by IOT devices. In this position, you will conduct in-depth analysis of the methods, tools and techniques used by real-world IOT devices. You will figure out clever methods of hacking into these devices. Your work might involve low-level OS research, network and communication protocols analysis, reverse engineering, sandbox automation and more—basically whatever is needed to “make it work”. You will be expected to be resourceful and independent.
Requirements
Highly motivated individual with a passion for hacking and reverse engineering
At least 3 years of hands-on experience researching attack and/or defense methods
Solid understanding of the world of cybersecurity
Deep familiarity with OS and software internals (Windows / Linux / RTOS)
Self-sufficiency in taking an attack idea all the way from initial research to a valuable POC
Will be a plus
Few years of experience as Reverse Engineer
Preferably on IOT devices (and not windows malware) is a benefit
Passion to work on IOT devices
Ability and experience in creating an end-to-end attack, i.e. an exploit (with ROP, etc.) and just find vulnerabilities
Presentation skills (Preferably in English) and team work skills
Willingness to travel, present and educate.
