R&D INTERNSHIP
The intern will have profound impact on the shape of the company’s IoT product. Paired with our CTO, the intern will help build our Wireless Sensor Network and cloud-based insights platform through intensive coding, visits to farms and collecting feedback from farmers, and overall product development. Our team includes former McKinsey & Co., Wix, and 8200 and will be able to provide strong feedback and mentorship throughout the process.
Background in at least one of the following areas is required:
– Client side coding – HTML / JS / CSS
– Server side coding – Python or Node.JS + MySQL
– Mobile development – either Android or iOS
– Algorithms (for data and communication optimization)
– Embedded coding (Arduino and ARM)
Farm Dog is an IoT (internet-of-things) driven insights platform for small and medium-sized farms that are being priced out of the ongoing agricultural technology revolution. We collect data from a wireless sensor network that we build and online sources, for analysis and insight production. We are an early-stage, funded company that aims to help farmers reduce their resource inputs, increase their yields, and optimize managerial time.
