Our office represents 2 interesting nonprofit global organizations: Global Entrepreneurship Week and MIT Enterprise Forum.
Both organizations initiate every year multiple events that support and promote the growth and success of high-tech entrepreneurial ventures by connecting ideas, technology and people.
The intern will be a part of the team and will help raising funds to our interesting projects that support geographic periphery and different social minorities: Ethiopian, Arabs and Ultra-Orthodox societies.
Examples of tasks and responsibilities:
1. Perform prospect research on foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and foundation grants.
2. Writing proposals for projects including budgets.
3. Submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects.

Requirements:
Languages:
* English- Fluently
Skills:
* Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals.
* Strong editing skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of fundraising information sources.
* Knowledge of basic fundraising techniques and strategies.
* Strong contributor in team environments

Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a year-round platform of programs and initiatives created by the communities that celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week each November.
Aimed at creating one global entrepreneurial ecosystem, GEN helps people all over the world unleash their ideas and turn them into promising new venture- creating jobs, unearthing innovations for society and strengthening economic stability around the world.
GEN aims to encourage and help young people explore their potential as self-starters and innovators, a path that will enable them to flourish personally, economically and socially. During one week each November, thousands of events and competitions around the world inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. The project who celebrates its 10th year, bonded last year over 10 million people in 170 countries.
The great success of “Start-Up Nation Israel” has not reached minority communities in Israel. GEW aims to bridge over this gap and connect the social periphery with the thriving tech economy. GEW events raise entrepreneurship awareness as a driving force, enabling social mobility, economic growth and equal opportunities.
